I have A new 1.2 GHZ ahlon that supports DDR,It comes with 256 sdram but i can upgrade to 256 DDR ram for $55.00. Do you think it is worth it. Does it run at 266 FSB? Thanks
P.S My motherboard does support 266 FSB

I can't say if your Mobo you support it without more info. But the price for 256mb PC133 on pricewatch today is $19, for 256mb PC2100 DDR its $35. You do the math.

DDR is between 10% and 25 % faster for memory intensive applications. If you do games, digital video editing, or any other multimedia stuff, go for the DDR.

If it works for you then don't fix it.
