AMD recommend a 400W PSU or greater for any HD7750

However Toms recorded power consumption under load to be roughly 200W with their test system.

I would say if the 300W PSU is a good quality unit then it'll be fine, if its generic I wouldn't risk it.

And also what the rest of your PC's spec is?

HP just list the PSU as 300W without giving any more information. So rather than risk damaging the rest of your PC I'd suggest buying a quality 400W PSU
