9800GT NO VIDEO OUTPUT

Hello,
I bought a asus p9x79 deluxe, i7 3820.
have thermaltake 700w, evga 9800gt video card 1gb, corsair vengeance 4x4gb memory,
I have done bench test, nothing plugged in other than cpu,video card, ram and still no video output.
Tried different card, still no video, tried also just 1 4gb ram stick adn still no video output. HELP

a Few things to check.

if your moatherboard has an onboard gpu then it may be outputting to that. if so plug into the onboard vidoe output. the go into the bios and disable it. then reconnect to the graphics card and reboot.

or

change the video cable from the pc to the display. a dead cable will not carry a signal.

or

test your display with another system/laptop/xbox/ps3 (if you can)

if these dont work let us know what happend to start the issue and does your moatherboard beep or display an error code when booting

I have tried 2 different monitors, which both work fine when plugged in a different computer,tried different dvi outputs on the card

Try a different memory module with lower density. I have run into some Intel boards that are very picky at what density module you use in them.

Does the computer POST? Which revision 3820 do you have? You may have to flash the BIOS before it will post as M1s are only officially supported in 0906 and later. ( http://www.asus.com.au/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_2011/P9X79_DELUXE/#CPUS ) Also, have you simply attempted to try your GPU in another slot on your mobo (as stated in the other thread)?
