Just built a PC with gigabyte GA A55m-ds2 with AMD Athlon II X4 631 4RAM - 400W power supply came with
MOBO has video included. Can't see anything to start Bios Setup.
No video output although everything since to be running on the mobo. The monitor works fine when connected to my old computer. What can it be?

Err in order to have IGP on an A55 FM1 chipset you'd have to get an FM1 APU with IGP on die like say the A6-3500? The Athlon II X4 631 has no IGP

IGP on mobos are stuff like the AM3/AM3+ 760G/880G/890GX chipsets to be pair with compatible AM3/AM3+ CPUs

Thank you. That solved the problem. I was told the Chip would need an external Video and thought the one from the MOB was it. I got a new Video Card and done!!!

Will any external card work? I just tried starting up for the first time with a radeon HD 6870 with no luck. What could I be overlooking?

Sorry, it may not have been clear, but same motherboard and processor as OP. The video card and ram are borrowed from a working desktop.

A 6870 takes two 6 pin connectors from the psu. Where they hooked up to the card? Your psu may have only one, if any, you will need a molex to 6 pin adapter just to test the card out.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that i borrowed the PSU from the same working desktop. Both 6pins plugs were indeed plugged in. I tried reseting the cmos, the cpu fan spins, as does the gpu fan, but I don't hear any beeps. I don't know this motherboard, so I don't know if I'm supposed to hear any beeps.

Try running with one stick of ram at a time.

I have tried that. I'm pretty sure both work, though, they came out of my daily desktop.
