Hello, I have an asus p8z77 v deluxe with two top fans one front, one rear and one side plus cpu. the asus fan control works a treat on them all. when the temp goes up they all start spining more. Aida 64 extreme only shows chasis two fan and the cpu fan. i am not sure why.
Well some programs do not communicate well with certain motherboards. I use speccy and it never gets the right temperature for my AMD Phenom II X6 so it's usually a program either A) not selecting the right data value from what your motherboard is supplying or B) it does not know how to read certain values from the motherboard. As long as the proprietary software that comes with the motherboard reads it, what is the difference?
