Radeon HD 4870 can't update, please help!

Hi guys,

I just changed my motherboard (to GA-970A-DS3) and had to reinstall Win 7. Now I'm trying to update my graphics driver. I updated a lot of times and now I believe I have 12.5 BETA but whan I check the info on ATI CCC it says 09.7. It always says 09.7. Even if I update to 12.3 or 12.4 or even 12.5 BETA, in the info it shows 09.7. What the hell?
Does anyone know anything about this bull****? AMD seems to play another prank on me. Please let me know if you had the same problem or know anything about it.

that because your old mobo need bios update to get new information about hardware u want plug in go and update bios first before installing gpu drivers http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4122#bios

thanks for the reply but I think I didn't mention that before. I also updated my mobo BIOS from F1 to F2 (there's no newer version) via Gigabyte.com. Even so, the situation didn't change...

install it and see the details of your gpu version and graphic update

Welli it says 12.5 in GPU-Z but yesterday in order to stop Battlefield 3 give error messages, I changed the version from regedir. Does that have anything to do with GPU-Z? I mean, after I changed the version from regedit, Battlefield stopped giving error messages. Would that effect GPU-Z's isnpection?? Thanks by the way.
