CPU 2500 or 3570 or keep what i got?

Ok its time for a new system build i think, I've been reading and reading on what to get and i got a headache.. i'm running the asus commando, x6800 cpu with a asus 8800gtx video. i want better video (BF3) and a faster system. is it worth the upgrade or should i just keep what i got and just upgrade the video card? So If its worth the upgrade what Mobo,cpu and video-card do you recomend. Wife will kill me if i spend $700 on a videocard again so lets keep it cheap as possable. not worried about OC anymore

you should OC your cpu then get an budget card like the hd7770 or spend some more and get the hd7850

I guess around $250 i may splurge more if its going to be a big difference.
I lean more towards Nivida cards
