5970 Performence Issues

Hello.
I have a Diamond Radeon 5970 2GB. I overclocked at 900mhz/1050mhz at a 1/5v core using afterburner. I got some crashes, so I reset the card using the default button on catalyst. I now get REALLY bad frame rates in games like Super Monday Night Combat, like 40-50 fps, and sometimes 20. Help?

have you updated to the latest drivers, psu wattage and name, temps of the card.

The drive is 12.3, the PSU is a Corsair TX850 and the temps are mid 50's at idle, mid to high 70's full load.
