Time for a psu upgrade??

Hello everyone,i am upgrading my pc to an average gaming pc and i want to ask if my psu can hold up my system

seagate baraccuda 250gb sata2
AMD Phenom II X4 965 at 3.5Ghz
Radeon HD6670 1gb ddr3
Corsair XMS 4gb ddr3 (dual channel)
ASROCK N68-GS3 UCC am3 socket
stock cpu cooler
a normal dvd writer ( i dont know what exactly is)


Notice i will not oc any of the parts and i either dont have leds on my case

sorry that was mistake of me...i have a thermaltake 420W i think its called thermaltake rs 420 or smthing like that i dont rly know

That PSU should be able to take that especially since your GPU doesn't draw too much power.

Hi - You have more than enough watts, the 6670 doesn't draw much power. On the TR2 PSU's some are ok and others are not.
If you have the funds you might want to upgrade the PSU anyway.

Brands to consider - Seasonic, Corsair, Antec, XFX. There are other good brands, but you will be able to find a nice unit
from this list. There are some nice deals being offered. Anything in the 500w(you are ok with 400w) range
will allow you to upgrade the GPU down the line.
