I think it should do. I've heard PCI-E 3.0 is backwards compatible to PCI-E 1.0 slots and the power consumption Isn't too demanding at just 55w. I'm running a HD 6450 on a computer from 2006 and the card was made in 2011 running PCI-E 2.0 in a 1.0 slot and I even had the HD 7750 recommended to me when I was looking for a cheap card (I asked if it was compatible and that's how I found 3.0 works on 1.0)
Yeah. I've read up on the backwards compatibility and low power consumption with the card, and that it could/SHOULD work in the e520. (even with the stock psu) I've seen quite a few people inquiring about using the card in the e520...BUT, I have never seen anyone write any follow up that it had worked. Also concerned, if it would fit properly in the mobo, and that the card is short enough that it doesn't hit the heatsink. (any card past 7in wouldn't fit)
mikes1992, thanks for the quick response and input... I appreciate it.
