yes it will support an Ivy Bridges CPU. This is from ASROCK's CPU support list for that motherboard.

-Supports 3rd and 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7 / i5 / i3 in LGA1155 Package
- Supports Intel® Turbo Boost 2.0 Technology
- Supports Intel® K-Series unlocked CPU
- Supports Hyper-Threading Technology

thanks rds,
one more thing tho will it be ok with 1 x G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) if that makes a difference. its cuz the mobo says DDR3 1600 with Intel 22nm CPU, DDR3 1333 with Intel Sandy Bridge CPU. that means the cpu will affect what kind of RAM it will work for right?
i have already bought the G.SKILL 8GB RAM and the mobo.

The way I understand it, it seems they are saying it will support a max of 1333 with a SB CPU and max of 1600 with Ivy Bridges. It should support your RAM fine.
