Upgrading graphics card in a Dell P4

Hello all,

I'm trying to make a Dell P4 3.00ghz viable for gaming. I have 2GB ram (which is sufficient for what I'm doing) but I need to upgrade to a 512mb graphics card. I really don't know much about upgrading anything outside of RAM, so I'm not sure what would be compatible with my setup or where to look. Thank you for any help!

  1. Is there a simple fix to avoid bottlenecking? Diablo 3 is what I need it for; I lag constantly with 256 and pretty much everyone I've talked to says 512 is almost necessary for D3. And yeah, I understand if there isn't a solution to my problem. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a cheap fix.
  2. Pentium 4's are NOT "viable" for gaming bin it and start again its not going to work AT ALL.
  3. Throwing any money at a P4 is a waste. A Llano system or a current Pentium dual core system will not be too expensive.
