This is my first PC build. I am looking to use it for gaming. I don't have a particular game in mind I want to start with as I usually stick to sports games like "Madden" on PS3. Some friends who PC game have finaly convinced me to give it a try, so here I am. Be brutal about the build I've put together as I expect it to change numerous times before its ready for purchase.

The RAM price in particular is insanely out of whack, and so is the GPU.

OK. The CPU is fine. I suggest a 990FX motherboard though, and a Radeon 6870. Also, a different PSU and cooler.

Question, the way you list all your component parts within the forum, is that the proper way of displaying a build or is it ok to use my profile page on UthinkPC? Eh, you can do it either way, I just chose to do it the way I usually do.
