Get sapphire hd6770 at flipkart.com which beats gtx550 ti.

yup completely agree with you. get a sapphire hd 6770 fromnehru place for rs 6200
  4. Go with a sapphire Radeon HD 6770 it generally performs better than GeForce GTX550Ti. :sol:
  5. Best answer
If u r sticking with the 3 options, then techshop one is the best
If u have the amd option then HD 6770 is a good option as stated before but the performance of 6770 is less than GTX 550 ti:

Totally agreed with you , But which one ? whether Asus or Zotac ?

I m not sure whether Zotac give 5 yrs warranty , and It's quality is comparable to that of asus's ...
  9. definitely ZOTAC is best option.
  10. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500194

2years warranty which is pretty large period time, ASUS is a bit better in cooling, nothing else?
  11. read these multiple page reviews
    Asus:
    http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GeForce_GTX_550_Ti_Direct_Cu/1.html
    Zotac:
    http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Zotac/GeForce_GTX_550_Ti_Amp_Edition/

You will find that my first answer would be the best choice.
  12. both are good pick either of them. zotac is a bit better in performance.
  13. Passmark is not what you want to use for benchmark comparisons. This goes for both GPU and CPU.

and definitely GTX550ti is better than HD6770.
  15. passmark is not a good bench to judge power on cards. any site that says that the 670 is better than the 680 disregarding price is awfully flawed somewhere

    your post makes no sense?

how does it not make sense, Videocard bench labels the 670 to be better than the 680 on the passmark ratings. its an obvious sign that passmark is flawed because of the fact that price is disregarded in grading passmark scores, and the 680, on paper, should be scoring a bit higher than the 670. unless you of course are reading my statement incorrectly.
  18. that's interesting. but may be gtx 670 with better cpu in passmark site.

it deffinately isn't 20-30 dollars better

    OP

GTX 460 1 GB 192 bit is available for 3 or 4 dollars more and despite never having recommended it before it will be a big frame rate difference for 5 dollars.

    well, what about heat,power,noise?

good points but 460s are not loud, not hot but pwr may be an issue but the performace is well worth it providing you have 1 PCI-E connector and an adapter

in general, amd cards require less power and heat(doesn't apply to all situations). noise is 100% dependent on the manufacturer of the cooling fan. you can have the same gpu reference, and have one dead silent while the other loud as day.

if its about the 460, its pretty hot. but what to expect when its 2 generations behind the current line and a few dollars more adds much more power.

    let the OP decide??

Respecting your valuable suggestion , But i don't like Amd Cards , Why i don't know . May be due to my old 9600gt which was able to play crysis 2 at medium settings in 900p monitor , that's why i m thinking nvidia could have been better choice for me , i could have been go for the Gtx 560 (may be ti version ) if it were not for my Core2Duo Processor and Cheap Psu ( 450 watt ).
  26. i didn't get it. The best answer?
What did u decide on actually?

xtreme5 is right . But actually i gave best answer to the wrong one .
  28. So what did u decide on?
The Zotac 550(the techshop one) was the option that i said the very first time.

Zotac is must , i don't think this one is better for me bcoz

1.May be little bit over pricey than flipkart counterpart ( Tech shop doesn't offers free shipping may charge rs.300 exrtra ) .

2.Heating problem may arise as it is overclocked .

3.More load on my local brand psu , dont' want to spend another rs.2500 on psu

4.Only 2 years warranty , i may hardly use this card more than 2 years . so i may resale it , may get good price if i wood had extra years of warranty on it .

These are the factors depending on it i m considering Zotac card of flipkart to buy .
