Guyz need some help. I am gonna upgrade my system. So please suggest whatever u can...

GC - Should be enough for the next 5 years (especially Crysis 3). I was thinking ATI HD 6770 or similar. Is there any nVidea alternative?
Budget - INR 8K ($150)

CPU + mobo - I have an 'AMD Athlon Dual Core 4600'. Now I HAVE to get a new mobo. So should i go AMD or intel? If AMD, then I will change my processor later. If intel, then i was thinking intel Core i5-2500K. And suggest some descent mobo. I already have a creative sound card.
Budget - INR 12K + 3K ($220 + $55)

RAM - 6GB/8GB DDR3. Whichever is available.
Budget - I have absolutely no idea about RAM prices.

PSU - 450W. Is it enough?
Budget - ???

So guyz please help me out here! Thanx in advance.

(this is my first time on this forum. so i wasn't sure about where to ask.)

For graphics card I will recommend 7770, 6790 or 6770.

I really doubt HD 6770 will last you 5 years. In three years, it will probably barely run new games on minimum, and in 5 years it won't even do that.

Only $55 for a motherboard? I doubt you can get a decent one so cheap.

RAM - I'd go with two of these, since you are on budget:
Kingston ValueRAM DDR3 4GB - 2824 INR.

Power supply: Corsair CX 500 - 3611 INR.

Lowest price motherboard I found: Intel DZ68DB - 8417 INR.

Processor: Intel i5 2500k - 12932 INR.

Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - 2184 INR.

Graphics card: Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 - 12243 INR.

Total: 42211 INR.

You're still missing a case and a hard drive, but I suppose you'll salvage those from your old PC? Also, I wouldn't go for anything lower than HD 6870 when paired with i5 2500k. For a gaming PC, you never want to invest more on CPU than on GPU. If you can't pay that much, get worse CPU, not GPU.

That's the cheapest out of the cheapest motherboards. You can't really expect to spend x amount of money on a thing that costs 3x. You'll have to compromise on other parts. What's your budget? Do you need a case? A Hard drive? A dvd drive?

Budget - INR 30K max

And no, I have everything else. Just need GC, mobo, CPU, RAM.
Priority is a good GC though.

Don't be unsure. 6870 is way faster than 6770.

6870 is NOT out of market as they are still in stock all over the internet - get yourself a 6870 and don't skimp out on gpu - 7770 is not really worth it thought the TDP is nicer. get yourself a core i3-2100 for the performance and lower power draw. I would go with a solid ASRock motherboard:

GPU:

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 $169.99 - 10 dollar rebate = 159.99
MOBO:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

cheap for 54.99, you can get a modern motherboard (PCI 3.0 slot!)

CPU:

my suggestion is core i3-2100 $ 119.99 - 10 dollar off on newegg = 109.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

RAM

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - 39.99 G.Skill 8gb

or

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... = 39.99 G.Skill 8gb

both 39.99

total: 374.96 with rebates and discounts

this hits the sweet spot between price and performance. Hope this helps!
