I need a bigger power supply

I have been looking for a bigger power supply and a better graphics card for this:

  1. Hi,

I just had a look at the link you provided and noticed a couple of things.

    1. You do have a PCIE slot
    2. The PSU is generic
    3. You have a i7 2600 ( correct me if I am wrong)

You definitely need a newer PSU and you can fit in a good graphics card. Can you let us know your budget and where you are located?

    Prashant Shah

This is the best bang for the buck in my opinion for a full HD resolution. The 660ti is also another card you can look at but is lacking in performance when AA is turned up in some titles.

There are good Nvidia cards but I have been rocking this configuration and it kills anything I throw at it. 550 W is enough but I noticed the 650W is dirt cheap. Corsair makes brilliant PSU's.

    And you save $50..:-)

Let me know if this works. I just tried Ebay but I am sure you will get it cheaper in other places. Also make sure the card physically fits in your case. You can probably go down to your local shop and see if the card fits.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Regards,
    Prashant
