Bought an MSI Z68A-G45 barebones kit (link: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2311915&CatId=333) and have run into a problem almost immediately.

The case this particular kit comes with (an MSI Raptor Mid Tower) has front and rear USB 3.0 ports. The front panel, which includes a multi-card reader and (1) USB 3.0 port, includes the following connectors; (1) 4-pin power connector and (1) USB 3.0 male connector. I don't understand what I'm to do with this cable? It's very confusing.

The only possibly way I see of gaining data connectivity to the front I/O ports would be to run the USB 3.0 cable outside the case (via an open PCI slot, which had already been knocked out when it arrived) and plug it into the female USB 3.0 port on the rear I/O panel.. but that seems absolutely absurd to do.

Instructions for the case on MSI's site (link here: http://us.msi.com/product/case/Raptor.html) says you "simply" plug the connector into the USB 3.0 port on your motherboard. I've personally never seen a motherboard with a direct USB port.. Can anyone please give me some suggestions here. Maybe I'm missing an adapter, I don't know. The motherboard (link here: http://us.msi.com/product/mb/Z68A-G45--B3-.html#/?div=Detail) DOES support USB 3.0 and has a (9? 11? can't remember)-pin connector labeled "USB 3.0"

Please and thank you for any responses, in advance!
