I'm in the process of building a HTPC and am looking for a TV Tuner card that will let me control my cable through Media Portal and the more I look into it the more confused I get.
I'm in Canada and have Sask-tel Max as my cable provider. As far as I know it's an IPTV service. The cable box I have is a Motorola VIP1200.
I've been looking at so many types of TV Tuner cards and terms that I don't think I could even make a logical decision anymore. I need something that would be allow Media Portal to pull channels and let me change the channel and whatnot from within the program on my HTPC. I would love some help with this as I don't want to buy something that won't work.
