Upgrade to win7?

Hey, a lot of friends say I should upgrade to win 7 because my pc isn't "that bad", but I'm kinda unsure. My specs are:
-Sempron 3100+
-2 GB RAM
-Nvidia 8600 GT factory OC
-160 GB SATA HDD
Would my pc run slower? Would games run slower? Tell me what you think

It would run 32bit fine, 7 is better optimized than Vista. My advice would be to save the money for a new rig rather than spend a hundred dollars just to upgrade the OS.

I agree with erick81. If you really feel the need to switch OS's, be sure to run the upgrade advisor first.

Hi

If you are running XP it WILL run slower with those specs with 7..

If you are running Vista, it will be roughly the same speed...but no faster...
