Power consumption
Our test system is based on a power hungry Core i7 965 / X58 based.
Measured power consumption one 6850 card

System in IDLE = 176W
System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 278W
Difference (GPU load) = 102W
Add average IDLE wattage ~ 19W (ATI specified)
Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 121 Watts

CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 V2 $44.99
$24.99 after mail-in rebate card

will be just enough or for a little more room:

CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W $59.99
$39.99 after mail-in rebate card

XFX Core Edition 550 watt (Seasonic) is the silver medallist in the above review. There is also a 450 watt model by XFX.

PC Power and Cooling Silencer Mk3S400 400 watt is another Seasonic. There is also a 500 watt model too.
