Is there a hide armour mod?

Other than headgear and cape, there's no ability (Mod or otherwise) to
keep gear you have equipped from showing on other players machines.

If you only care about what you see yourself, you might be able to find
a client-side hack for that. I say "hack" because it most likely
wouldn't be built with LUA and the official mod tools. You could even
go as far as modifying the games local resource file and just making
all gear transparent. That would make it look like *everyone* was
running around naked :-)

It's not possible with the Blizzard LUA scriping language so you'd have
to do it with some sort of 3rd party memory editor, which of course
opens you up to getting banned. Also, it would only show on your
screen, not anyone else's.

My suggestion is to just get armor with good stats that looks good.
