hello everyone .

i have purchased a graphic card for my pc sapphire radeon hd 6670 1 gb ddr5 but its a pcie x 16 2.1 card and my mobo ( asus p5kpl am in ) only supports pcie x16 1.0 so i'm really worried that whether the card will work properly on my pc or not , i can handle a decrease in performance by 5% to 10 % but not more and will it bottleneck please help me out and i dont wanna overclock it .

my pc specs
intel core 2 duo e7500 @ 2.93 ghz
ram - 2gb
hdd = 320 gb
psu - corsair 450w

All PCI-E slots are backwards compatible so you won't have to worry about compatibility issues.

As for performance, every new generation of PCI-E basically doubles the bandwidth. For example, PCI-E 1.0 16x would be the equivalent of PCI-E 2.0 8x. I don't think you'll see a very big drop in performance so I wouldn't worry :)

Also, PCI-E 2.1 has the same bandwidth capabilities as PCI-E 2.0.
