I have never built a computer before and I just wanted a second opinion.

Thanks, TDM

More about : build

everything looks pretty solid! the case looks awesome too. the one thing i would change is instead of getting a Z77 ASUS mobo get a Z68. you don't need a Z77 board for a 2500k, and if you want to upgrade to Ivy bridge you could just get the BIOS update and it almost is a Z77 board. your choice though. you could save a few bucks. you don't need PCIe 3.0 either, the best card on the market can't max out 2.0 x16 speed yet.

Looks good to me nice build i would also upgrade to a 128gb SSD i would change motherboard to ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 or ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3 but you don't half to only suggestions will work with your current pick fine

Thanks so much for the replies guys. One of the main reasons for the Z77 was for the WiFi compatibility. As my router is not within cable reach of my build. I don't really want to upgrade to a 128gb SSD because of the cost and I am hard pushed on money and will only want to consider it if the OS won't fit onto a 64GB.
One last question I have is whether it is worth getting a 570 instead of 560 ti? I don't want to spend the money but I would like this build to last me a while and I think the 570 may have a longer life but is it really worth the extra £70?

Thanks guys

I like asus because of the massiive fans so the ability to oc without burning up your pc, i have heard the HD 7850 is good, any opinions???
I jusst tend to be a nVidia fan boy.
7850 is alright it's nothing special

The card was just release then after the 570 has been out for 1.5 yrs, the 570 has had millions of driver updates to make it faster, the 7850 has only had a few but the performance has improved by 10% making it the same :)
