I'm trying to upgrade an old dell which my dad has been using to play civ iv and he now wants to play civ v which the intel dedicated graphics just isn't up to.
its got a intel core 2 6300 which i think should be fine, its only got a 1gb of ram which i thought i would upgrade to 2 but the real question is which gpu to get.
I've never really looked at the low end of the gpu market before so i'm not sure which would give him the power he needs while being cheap (£50 or under if possible) and won't cause the 300w psu too much trouble.
My thoughts so far are perhaps the geforece g210? or gt520? or perhaps the amd hd5450? I could perhaps go as far as the hd6570, but is that necessary? are there any better alternatives?
