Boot problem

Hello,
I changed the boot order in my bios settings to an unknown device to boot first. Now my computer turns on, it starts the cd drive, then shuts off.
I have tried to boot from usb but it is an older Dell Latitude D610. Again, I cannot see anything on the screen and pushing f12 does nothing at this point.

Why did you set an unknown device as your primary boot device?

Can you get into the bios settings? If not, have you tried resetting the bios? Just remove your CMOS battery for a couple minutes, reinsert it and see if it will boot. (Warning, this will reset all your bios settings to default)
