It's about that time to let my 4850 head out to pasture and wanted some help from the community on what my next GPU should be. Also, I think my setup is also out of date, any recommendations would be nice.
CPU 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300
Memory 8GB 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics 512MB ATI 4850
Hard drives 750GB 7,200 rpm
PSU: Antec TruePower New TP-550
Operating system Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit)
Max Resolution: 1680x1050
I was currently looking at the 6850 & 6870 cards, as I've read the have a great bang for the buck, but am not opposed to getting something a little more expensive. My limit on the card would be in the $300 range, but I think something at that level wouldn't benefit being in my setup. It's pretty dated by today's standards and wouldn't really be used to it's full potential.
I would be playing games like D3, WoW, BF3, SKyrim but mainly it's just an all around comp. Thanks!
