Which 6670 should I get $75

The better answer is probably to try to get a 6770, which won't be that much more expensive after a rebate but will offer a big performance increase. Look at the framerate difference in Diablo 3, for example: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/diablo-iii-performa...

You will have to pay more than $75 before rebate. But this 6770 is only $85 post-rebate on newegg, and it's about to be (at 4pm Eastern/1pm Pacific) a shellshocker, so it might get down to $75 after rebate: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... , also http://www.newegg.com/Special/ShellShocker.aspx?cm_sp=S... . You will be much happier with this card in the long run than a 6670.

Haha, you even get a free game! ^^^

Gotta know though, you have a free PCIe slot right? And what wattage is your PSU? (although that card doesn't use much power)

Yeah i have a PCIe 2.0 But the 2.1 would work and I got a corsair 430w last week

The fact that it's underclocked doesn't really matter--it's easy enough to fix that using Sapphire Trixx or MSI Afterburner or any of those utilities (or even Catalyst itself). And it's still way faster than a 6670, even if you never touch the clocks. But yes, I did notice that (it's the reason for several of the negative reviews). The other 6670 for $90 is good too, but it's $90 post-rebate, so that might be a bit high. Let's cross our fingers on that shellshocker.

Yeah, and just to repeat, even though the 6770 might be close to double the price of the 6670 after rebate, it could be more than twice as fast, especially in new games. Look at the Diablo 3 chart with higher graphics settings: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/diablo-iii-performa...

So the shellshocker was for $70 post-rebate. You should definitely get that. Even if you don't fix the clock speed, that thing will annihilate a 6670. It doesn't matter that it's $70 vs $40 post-rebate--it will double the performance of a 6670.

Haha, well I understand that's annoying. But think about it this way. Usually when you spend more money, you don't get back as much in performance as what you spent. That is, when you spend $100 on a card, you usually don't get double the performance of a $50 card. (This is true of all kinds of things, like CPUs or cars or guitars or whatever.) But in this case, you can actually get double performance by spending double the money. In fact, you can get better than double performance at less than double the money. That's amazing. So you're not doing too bad here.

Haha, yeah, I'd just get the shellshocker one. It's a lot cheaper than the others, and you can overclock it using AMD's own driver software, called catalyst. There are many guides on this forum for doing that. If you want to overclock it more, you can use MSI Afterburner or Sapphire Trixx (doesn't matter which manufacturer made the card; those programs allow you to tweak any AMD GPU).

A GREAT card for the money is the $75 IceQ HD 5670. It's a lot better than the HD 6670s you were looking at, a lot cheaper than any HD 6770, and it has one of the best HSFs on the market. Don't get me wrong, the HD 6770 is a better card, but you were originally wanting to spend only $75. This is the best card at that price.

Does DX11 even matter that much anyways? Some graphic features looks weird?

Not really - there's basically no visible difference except in some demanding games that came out last year; Batman Arkham City and Crysis 2 come to mind... But the cards in your price range won't be able to handle those games at their highest settings (DX11) anyway. The HD 6770 is still worth the extra money though.

I guess il just get the Gigabyte one and my CPU would probably bottleneck lol

Maybe a little bit, but everything is still playable. My CPU is barely better than yours and I get by on Ultra settings most of the time. Overclock it if you can.
