Thanks for looking in on this one.
Computer monitors. I was reading that if you get anything bigger then 24" one should get better resolution. I know about this. I have 55" tv in my l/r which is kinda close to my couch and I can see the pix-elation sometimes. So I am thinking about a 24" as the screen will be 2 feet away on my desk.
That brings me to the reviews and horror story's from some of these monitors. What are you using and how do you like it?
I plan on spending 150 this weekend and LG is the only one with decent reviews out of what I have been looking at such as these:
I'm using a BenQ 120Hz monitor. It's 24", but probably more than you need.
Go with the ASUS that has the best reviews - their 23.6" monitor is what I had, and I LOVED it. I just wanted the higher refresh rate, cuz I'm crazy like that.
You know I have been doing some reading and ASUS did come in with some good review. (Pending on what model) Asus PA246Q this is a nice one. There are a lot of raves about Dell's 2412 yet it does not have an HDMI connect. Only a DVI and the other older one. I have also learned that DCR Dynamic Contrast Ration is a bit like MP on a camera after you hit the 14mp range. Good for the salesmen but not for the customer. I will have to take a closer look at those ASUS and hopefully find a sweet deal on one... You popped for an expensive monitor with that make.
