so these are the parts im planning on getting:

CASE

MOTHERBOARD
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...

GPU

CPU
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...

CPU COOLER
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1683...

RAM
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1682...

i need a PSU which could fit in that case and power all these parts. id say around 650w and preferably modular

for the HDD, i read Sata 6gb/s and 64mb cache arent worth it since the performance is the same. so im looking for a good quality 1tb sata 3gb/s and 32mb cache.

More about : psu hdd

Ah that sucks. There are probably Canadian promos somewhere - its a common sale.

Then don't get a black, the other color WD models are good too. Samsung also makes good drives.

You could get a Seagate Drive. I have three in my rig (2 of them 3+ yrs old) and they work fine. I find that the Barracuda line is the same as the Caviar Blacks and often cheaper. Also the SATA 6GBp/s interface and 64MB cache are good things, and it wont lock you out of plugging it into SATA 3GB ports.

As for the PSU, this one will do fine. 80+ bronze and modular.
