Hi Forum,

I have some questions regarding 3D. I have a 7970 OC'd at 1170, and will be getting a second one as a gift.
I also play First Person Shooters alot, such as Battlefield 3. I also will be purchasing a 3D monitor for 120hz.

So what i have to ask is:

1. With an ATI card, i've read somewhere that they are restricted to 720p, where as Nvidia can do 1080p? Is this true?
(i) If it is true they run on 720p, does that mean it will become more CPU bound? :S

2. If i purchase a Samsung 23A750 Monitor, am i suppose to purchase glasses separately (or are they meant to provide them with the monitor)?
(i) What cable would i need to obtain 120hz. Are there different "grades" of cables which may affect any.. lag/input lag/performance etc? (i don't know)

3. Does 3D gaming run at 120hz or 60hz?

4. Is Battlefield 3 - 3D ummm native or somethnig? As in you don't need to use 3rd Party Programs like Tri-Def or something?

5. Is there anything else i should know regarding 3D gaming and required hardware/setups/monitor selection.

Thanks.
