Power Supply Increase Performance!!!

Hard to believe but true. I have had a Athlon T-Bird system for a year now. I used my old case when upgrading and it had a 250w power supply. Well it was 3yrs old(power supply) and finally crapped out on me. When I replaced it with a 300w power supply I couldn't believe the difference it made. My hard drive must have been starving for power cause it accesses much faster now. Age may have been a factor with the 250w supply but I am happy that even though the new supply cost $50(Japan) it at least made my computer run better.

Thanks for the input. Most people believe you should have at least 300w with an Athlon. Your experience will convince the non-believers.
