Can anyone tell me if I have a Seasonic M12II-520 W ....with two 12v rails and 20A on each....would it support the GTX670?

Or do i need a single rail with 40A+

The PCI-E connectors need about 15 amps for themselves. If they are on a single rail together then that will leave very little current for them to "share" with other devices.

It *might* actually work, but it's not something I would try with valuable equipment.

But there are 2 rails...so I could use one for GPU and the rest for cpu, mobo?

The CPU, MB and other devices will be used by whatever rail they are connected to internally.

You don't get to pick what connectors are on what rails. Those decisions were made for you at the factory.

Without knowing exactly which connectors are on which rails, you are just rolling the dice.
