    Here is a thought, but I do not know what case you have, this is a standard ATX board
    ASRock 970DE3/U3S3 AM3+ AMD 770 $60
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157305

    New memory:
    CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 $48
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145315
    Total = $108

    This would give you an AM3+ board and 8 GB of memory and this would give you some performance upgrade with a small investment on your part.
