I am looking to upgrade my homebuilt pc i game occasionally and watch movies i do basically everything on my computer including college course work i just have noticed it was slower lately and figured it could use some components refreshed so i figured i will replace the the mother board and ram and toss out other recommendations as you see fit but currently im only replacing mother board and ram and preferably id like to only spend $150 us between the two otherwise i have to wait my system specs are as follows
Mobo: asus m4n79pro
Ram: 3gb of i believe pc3200 ddr2
Power supply: ultra lsp5500
cpu: amd phenom II x4 965 black edition oc to 3.7ghz
GPU: asus hd6670
HD: i believe WD 5900 rpm 2tb with sata 3.0 i think
Windows 7 64 bit ultimate
any ideas or tips would be appreciated when i upgrade the mobo im hoping for best bang for the buck id really like usb3.0 sata 6gb/s ddr3
