Hey,

I have an i7 930 and Asus P6X58D-E from a few years back. I'm looking at upgrading to a GTX570.

PCIe2 and 3 are compatible, but I have no problems there. However will I have a bottleneck issue at all?

Thanks!

Instead of upgrading to older, hotter, slower tech, go with a 600 series card - the 660ti should be comparable to the 570, or even the 580.

You MIGHT experience a slight bottleneck in CPU heavy games, but not enough to worry about.

a GTX660 is roughly equal to the GTX570 so get that or an HD7870 instead.
Also I don't think there will be any bottleneck

I have the same motherboard and processor and my computer still maxes everything I throw at it.

Ugh!! I slept for one night on a deal and it may be sold out :(
Considering a GTX560 / 7850 / 7870 (some good deals around)

Thanks guys!
