AMD FX 4300 overclock and voltage requirement?

If I overclock it to 4.4ghz, what's the voltage requirement for that? Can I go any higher?

the voltage depends from chip to chip but I would say about 1.38v at 4.4ghz would be possible but try 1.4 if 1.38 is too less.

And yes you can go higher provided you have good cooling

hell, I didn't even do it in the bios and really tweak it out. this is straight from the AMD Overdrive auto clock util.

Coolermaster X6 heatsink/fan has arrived and been installed.
Core voltage raised by +0.075 and a simple multiplier increase has the chip running at 4.5Ghz.
After an 8 hour run with Prime95 every core was still active and temperatures peaked at 64*C.
Overclocks past 4.2Ghz with my chip/mobo combination failed Prime95 testing without the vCore increase.
Now that I've raised the vCore, I will see how far it can go on this new voltage.

If you have good water cooling like at least Corsair H-100i you can raise your v-core up to 1.5v and raise clock speed to 5.0 and it will be stableand temps should stay around 55c
