It seems like I have to enable T9 on the 6230 every time I want to
use it. Is there no way to enable it all the time and have it
disabled when I don't need it?
I am starting to think that the Nokia people aren't doing their
usability research...

??
So if you start to type a message, and press # until you get '=Abc' (ie T9)
and write your message. Next time you go to create a new message, it has
jumped back to 'Abc' (ie no T9) ???
It should(?) remember the last mode you were in (using # to select the input
mode).
Does on mine (6230) anyway.
