I have a blue LED fan that just randomly started not coming on all the way. The LED light comes on and when I start up the computer it turns for a second then turns off. I was messing with some overclocking and Prime95 earlier but I wasn't paying attention if that did anything. Last time I checked if it was working was a week ago when I cleaned out my case. I just happen to look down today and notice the shadow that the fan gives off from the LED light stopped spinning.

Is the fan plugged into the motherboard or the PSU?

Hmm... very strange. Can you give us the full specs of your PC? Especially the PSU. It could be starved for power. Have you noticed any instability with the system?

CPU: AMD Phenom II 965 BE
GPU: HiS IceQ 7850 Turbo
MoBo: ASRock 880GM-LE
PSU: Thermaltake 600W
HDD: 500GB
RAM: 2x 4GB Crucial Sticks

I have 3 case fans and Enermax T40 CPU cooler. The other 2 case fans are working, seems to just be the one front panel fan.

If your system is running fine and stable, then I would say that your fan is simply breaking. Can you try plugging the fan into the motherboard?
