Hello, I'm wondering if I can damage my GPU by not grounding and getting rid of static electricity when the gpu is still in the wrapper? this is a quick question - because I'm not going to get the rest of my components until later this year and I want to be able to insure that I didn't do anything to my GPU. btw I own a GIGABYTE WINDFORCE 3X OC GTX 670, if this helps. Thanks!

Anything can happen, but what you describe will be very unlikely. You have a greater chance of stepping on it and breaking it that way really.
