Hardwares required for my PC to play high end games

I have a PC with Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 processor, 4 GB ram, 1GB Zotack GeForce 9400GT graphics card.

I wanna make it beat all high end games for 3 years at least, so what are all the upgrades should I make in the hardware of my PC?

New motherboard so you can put in an i5 and a new graphics card (a 670/7950) and 8gb of ddr3 ram and probably a new PSU.
