HDTV/couch computer for up to $1000

I want to purchase a computer that can run games like Battlefield 3 on max settings at 60 frames a second...but also only needs to be displayed at 720p. I chose parts but couldn't find a custom-pc site that carried them!

Where should I buy a computer?

I built one myself several years ago, but I don't feel comfortable doing it again. Too easy and costly to screw up!

The basic hardware is not much an issue - for audio : are u sending coax/optical/hdmi to an external AVR? Any preference for form factor ITX/mATX/etc and any DVR/HTPC function integrated?

I'm only planning to use the HDTV's speaker at the moment, so just HDMI.

an a8 apu and hd6670 are as cheap as it gets, and enough to make consoles look like mud, build for under $500 complete, add bluray and ssd and still be well below budget
I have a 6650 and phenom II and it's pretty good, console can't compare,
