Hi - well in terms of raw watts/amps you can get buy with a decent 400w PSU.
However, you need to consider the pci-e power connectors your next PSU has.
For example, one of the 7850's(mfg recommends 500w psu) I looked at needed
2 - 6pin connectors, and you want to be able to CF?SLI (650w needed) in the
future meaning you need a PSU with 4 pci-e connectors and you generally need
to get a 650w & up unit for that.

    Tom

    two for you to consider:

both of these contain 4 pci-e connectors you will need for CF/SLI
  3. Seasonic 520w modular version from newegg is 69 bucks.
  4. SeaSonic X Series X650 because its on a huge sale today for $90.
