Hi,

I've just bought a Nokia 6600 and there's a red dead pixed in the middle of
the screen. My question is: are dead pixels present from the very beginning
of the manfacture process, or can they appear over time while using the
phone?

Thank you in advance,
W

They can appear at any point in time due to punctual pressure or
shocks. Since you just bought it, it's likely to be a manufacturer
error and you should *definitely* ask for a replacement. Dead pixels
can spread.
