2600k I7 or 3570k I5 with $40 difference?

The I7 supposedly can be overclocked more and the I5 less so much. The I7 has more cache in it as well.

I guess the question considering right now there is only a $40 difference is it worth it to get that instead and overclock the I7, or benefit negligible?

These are the current specs without the I7. IF i did that plan I would get a better power supply and cooling.

Get the i7, 8 threads are more future-proof than 4 threads.
