Ok. Friend of mine has a 2.0 Celeron 400mhz (128k) on a soyo board running 133sdram. His budget is seriously limited and needs a small upgrade to build on later on.
I was thinking he could buy an ABIT IS7 and uses the current processor and buy some DDR3200 for a 2.8C later on.
He plays Americas Army and Halo on his pc and performance is rather poor. His video is a fx5200. Right now it seems as if he is processor limited on the games.
How much will performance increase going from 133sdram to DDR3200. It should run 266 in dual channel (if im right). Thats double the memory badwidth. How much would performance go up with the added bandwidth?
