Advice on PSU for upgrade

Hello all,

I've been watching these forums for several weeks now as I've prepared to upgrade my CPU, mobo, and RAM. My original plan was to keep my current PSU (Corsair VX 450 Watt), but now I'm getting nervous that it won't handle the new components. I would appreciate any feedback on the matter. Here are the upgraded system specs:

Core i5-3470 CPU
ASRock H77M (Micro ATX) LGA 1155 Mobo
G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) RAM
1x Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD
1x Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM 500GB HDD
1x MSI GeForce GTX 460 1GB GPU (came overclocked)
Corsair VX 450 Watt PSU
- not sure if this matters - 1x Seagate 500G external HDD occasionally hooked up through USB

If any poster feels that a new PSU would be useful, I am open to recommendations; however, I'm on a budget, so I will never need a really high end PSU. I will never get 2x GPUs or a high end processor, I can't overclock the new chip, and I only use the computer for a few hours per day. Cheap recommendations would be most appreciated.

As long as you don't plan on overclocking, your 450w corsair should be fine. Your system should pull about 350w at max load.

Addendum:

eXtreme Power Supply Calculator put out the following numbers:

Minimum PSU: 315w
Recommended: 365w

I'm just trying to double-check so that I don't mess anything up.

Well that PSU its just great and it has a golden Award.

It delivered more than 450 W (570W FYI) and it will handle your rig.

Gtx 460 need only 160 W so u have plenty (Up to 480W on 12V rail) so there is nothing to worry .
