Is this CPU compatible with my Motherboard.

So I want to upgrade my CPU to : Intel Core i7-3770K Quad-Core Processor 3.5 GHz.

I currently have a : AMD Phenom II X4 925 2.80 GHz.

My motherboard is this :

So would the Intel Core i7 CPU I put in the beginning so would that be compatible with my motherboard?

No, you can't put an Intel CPU into an AMD board.

2 completely different sockets (LGA 1155 and AM3).

Also, what are you doing with this computer? If it's not very heavy gaming, that phenom is still an amazing chip.

If it is heavy gaming, you're better off with the i5-3570k anyways - the only difference between it and the i7 is hyperthreading, which games don't use.
