I am on my second evga gtx 670 and this one is experiencing BSODs while playing high end games such as BF3 or Cyrsis 2. It always happens around 30-45 minutes into the gameplay. I have played Diablo 3 for hours at a time without an issue.

My Specs
i5 2500k @ 4.2ghz
EVGA GTX 670(standard, not overclocked) driver version 301.42 WHQL(got bsods before updating as well)
8gb DDR3 ram
64gb m4 ssd
1tb data hdd
520w corsair PSU

I upgraded from an ati 5850 and I ran driver sweeper before installing the 670. I decided to just do a fresh install of windows and played some Crysis 2 with the hd textures and dx11 mod. The temps hovered around the low to mid 70s for around 30-45 minutes of gameplay before I got another BSOD. Could the PSU be underpowered? I am willing to purchase a new one if it would help, I just don't want to order before I pinpoint the issue.

*edit*
My first evga 670 never got a bsod, but that is probably because the drivers constantly crashed and had artifacts popping up. This one has not had that issue, just the bsods.

Is your EVGA 670 the Superclocked version by any chance?

There are a lot of people having problems with the EVGA 670 Superclocked version, get in touch with EVGA they're offering a free upgrade to the 670 FTW edition for anyone having problems with their 670.

I doubt its your power supply causing the BSOD, a good quality corsair 500W power supply should be fine.
