Looks like you have a 250W PSU. That is a real limiting factor. In that case the most you can upgrade to is the $110 AMD 7750.

    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7770-7750-benchmark,3135.html

I'd suggest saving for a complete upgrade if that's an option, you'd get much better performance/price...
  5. Yeah the psu isn't too good i'd too recommend on saving the money now and then upgrade your psu and buy a hd 6850.

But i also think your cpu will bottleneck the card. you'll need to OC ur cpu :)
  6. for you gts 450 will be the best one if u have an 6 pin pcie connector.:)

    second hd 6570.:)

    third at max hd 7750.:)

no the hd 6850 is too much for that cpu it will be better to get new whole instead of overclocking.:)

  10. Thanks for the replies! What's the most I could upgrade the entire computer to? I read somewhere that for ram I could only do four gb.
  11. can you tell me which psu do you have?pls so i can help you in better way.:)
  12. four gb ram's good but i'd recommend buying a new cpu and mobo. intel core i3 2100 would be good
  13. Would it be better to just buy a new computer with all the parts (having someone else install everything) ? I was looking at EVGA GeForce GTX 580 and wanted to make something that could play Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 at max settings, I just have no idea what parts I need.
  14. look it will be always better to upgrade.:)

whats your budget for whole system?
  15. for a gtx 580 u must have to upgrade ur cpu, mobo and.......... psu (what psu do u have!)
  16. The maximum would be two thousand.

  21. You could build a killer machine for 2000 dollars if you already have a keyboard mouse ext.
  22. Ok, thanks for the replies it's a big help! I just wasn't sure how much a new pc would cost and didn't know if I should upgrade this old one or get a new one, but thanks for all the help!

  24. So here is a great gaming pc under your price you just need to make sure you pick a case with a place to put the radiator for the liquid cooling. A corsair with the slots for two 120mm fans on the the top will be good. This would be a beast of a machine it will blow your mind how fast it does tasks and the gaming would be outstanding plus you can always hook it up to your tv. Oh yeah I forgot a cd rom drive but you can decide if you want blue ray or not.
