Budget build suggestions for a GTX 480 GPU.

Hey TH forums, I am looking for some opinions on a build, any ideas would be much appreciated. I have one component already:

-Nvidia GeForce GTX 480

I would like to find a build that can make the best use of this GPU, within my budget. The build needs to include:
-an audio card for music production (Ableton Live)
-any version of windows 7 (the cheaper the better)
- 500GB or more Hard Drive.
-one CD/DVD drive of some kind, not picky about this one.
-I'd prefer an intel CPU, quad-core if it fits in budget.
-I don't need any overclocking ability, but i'm not against it either.

As far as case preferences go, I would like as many of the I/O ports as possible to be accessible from the front of the computer. Noise is not a real issue for me, and case size is also not a big deal. That's all I can think of right now as far as preferences go, but if you need more information, let me know.

Approximate Purchase Date: sometime in the next month.

Budget Range: $400-$700

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Music Production, Gaming

Buying a monitor: Not immediately, but I am open to suggestions if anyone has ideas for a cheap, medium sized monitor.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg is preferable, amazon is fine, open to others as well though.

Thanks much in advance, this forum is great.

  1. If you want a AMD build just say so and Ill offer one. Also I do not sudjest a sound card, they offer no advantage over onboard audio.
