Approximate Purchase Date: Any time possible.
Budget Range: $135
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Internet Surfing
Are you buying a monitor: If I can afford it on top of the rest of the parts.
Parts to Upgrade: At least the GPU, PSU, and RAM.
Do you need to buy OS: No
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Whichever has the necessary part and is the cheapest.
Location: Springfield, Illinois, USA
Parts Preferences: No preference. If it will work for a few years, it's good.
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe?
Your Monitor Resolution: 1280x1024 currently; if I can afford a monitor, this will change.
Addition Comments: If I can reuse ANY part at all, please mention this. It'd save some money for use on other parts.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I would like to play some more recent games. I sometimes have trouble playing Minecraft on this computer. I don't expect a high end PC, but something less... old. Anyway, here are the specs of the parts I want to upgrade.

Motherboard/GPU: GeForce 6100 nForce 405
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2.4GHz
RAM: 1.5GB
Power Supply: 250w

Oh, sorry. I thought that that was the motherboard model. The Acer AST180-UA381B apparently has a Foxconn AM2 MCP61S. It has a x16 PCI-E slot and AM2 support.

Also, no DDR3 ram at all. Memory: 4x 240pin DDR2-800/667/533 DIMMs, Dual Channel, Max Capacity 4GB.

And that PSU is worth 44.99 now, Merueth.
